TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH

Every person needs to increase their English level but they do not know how to reach the goal, but no worries, there are some tips I watched on a YouTube video the other day and  It is amazing the number of ways to learn English, those are effective, accessible and they do not take a lot of time. I bet you do not know that you can improve your English level with simple activities.  

  1. One of the most efficacious in terms of vocabulary is identifying objects around you while thinking about them in your target language. You can be more familiarized with different terms and things without the necessity of translating them.  My knowledge has grown a lot, and I consider that supporting the idea of using only the      target language in short activities brings you plenty of help. 

 

  1. Another practice you can do is to create situations where you are obligated to speak in your target language, such as imagining you are in a job interview abroad. I know that is sounds crazy, but it is extremely useful and makes you to think about default answers for different situations. It is difficult sometimes but once you get used to practicing, it will be easy for you. It will help you with a wide amount of vocabulary and expressions to use and, also, you will know how to use them correctly.  

 

  1. In a similar way, you can train responses to common questions, the o nes that you can use in your daily life. Try not to use the same expressions or answers when someone asks you about your day or your state of health, there are many ways to respond. You will sound like a native if you stop using words like “fine” or “good”. In fact, based on my experience I can say that it helped me a lot in my day at school. 

 

  1. Equally, watching T.V. series and movies in your target language without subtitles is a good alternative if you want to develop and improve certain skills such as listening, not only vocabulary. I can say that your pronunciation will be benefited because you will have the advantage of understanding better what people are saying. I strongly recommend this practice because you can enjoy things you like while you are learning at the same time.  

 

  1. Moreover, repeating phrases you hear native speakers use is another easy form of your level can be higher. Even if you do not have physical contact with native speakers, there are apps to talk with them and practice your English. Those people will help you to develop an appropriate pronunciation and use of different words and phrases. In addition, I consider that the fact of talking with native speakers, you are encouraging people to defeat insecurities with the language and going through new challenges in order togrow up and demonstrate what they know and all they have already learned. 

 


  1. Subsequently, doing your daily activities in English may result the easiest alternative to get used to endure the language. There are simple daily activities as going to the supermarket, hanging out with friends or even going to school that allow you to practice the language and interchange different ideas and points of view with learners. I always practice as much as I can in order to been provided with feedback and acquire knowledge from other people.  

 

Learning english is not as difficult as you though, right? Please give yourself the chance of learning with different methods and activities with the purpose of enjoying and gaining knowledge so you can improve your English level. I hope my ideas and different tips have helped you to start working on developing your weak skills and encourage you to learn more and in a fun way.


What I realized is that I do not take into consideration the tips I searched for because I am only doing what I need, I do not see beyond. I do not even watch the TV or something like that. I think I have to be more ambicious in order to improve my English. On the other hand, I learned more connectors of addition and some other new words.
